This backyard had become overgrown with weeds and thick grass, making it difficult to maintain and reducing usable space. The area was cleared back, cleaned up, and returned to a neat, manageable condition so it can now be easily maintained moving forward.

These hedges had been left for some time and had grown out unevenly, losing their shape and structure.They were cut back and reshaped into clean, defined forms to bring the yard back to a neat and well-maintained appearance.

The backyard lawn had become heavily overgrown, with grass covering pavers and growing through the joints, making the space difficult to use and maintain. These garden beds had built up over time with dense weeds, overcrowded plants, and heavy overgrowth, making the area difficult to maintain and impacting the overall presentation of the site. The space was cleared out, reduced, and properly tidied, including removal of root suckers, trimming back of overgrown plantings, and clearing of thick weed growth to restore a clean and manageable garden area.

It started as a vine… then got a bit too comfortable - Dubbo NSW

What began in the garden bed had worked its way up, through the pergola roof, and into the gutters where it had properly dug in. Down the side of the shed, another vine had completely taken over the gap between the fence line, while a fast-growing tree out front was starting to push well beyond where it should’ve been. This one turned into a full clear-out, cutting back the overgrowth, removing invasive vines from tight access areas, clearing rooted growth from the pergola guttering, and bringing the whole space back under control before upcoming roof and gutter work.

These hedges had gotten higher than the tenants were comfortable managing themselves. Brought back down, cleaned up, and trimmed to a neater, safer height without needing ladders, hedge trimmers, or turning it into a bigger job than it needed to be. Sometimes it’s not about major overgrowth. Just making things manageable again.

Ducking to get out of the car gets old pretty quickly - Dubbo NSW

These weeping figs had put on a lot of growth and were starting to hang over the driveway, making it awkward to get in and out of the car without catching a branch.The canopy was heavily reduced and lifted to restore clearance around the driveway while keeping the trees healthy and ready to fill back out with new growth.

20 years of periwinkle, gone in a day - Dubbo NSW

The garden bed running along the pool fence had been left untouched for the better part of twenty years. Periwinkle had completely taken over, smothering everything underneath with a thick mat of weeds and decomposing organic matter. The pool fence was removed for access, everything was pulled out by hand from the root layer up, and a fresh layer of mulch was laid to finish it off. All green waste removed and taken to the tip.
